United Kingdom (We are still right here in Northumberland!) If there is one thing we have learnt over the past few weeks, it's that moving can be really exciting, but stressful too, that's why we've put together a few our top tips to help your move run a little smoother.

• When packing, make sure you pack and unpack by room. This will help prevent things getting lost and muddled up. Label the sides of the boxes - this means that you'll be able to tell which box is for what even when they are stacked up.
• If you pack plates vertically, like records,they’ll be less likely to break.
• When dealing with electronics such as TV's, and Computers, it' always good to take a photo of how your electronics are connected so you can remember how and where all the wires go.
•  Pack the items you will need FIRST in a clear plastic box. Make sure that this is the last thing to be moved across (so it doesn't get lost in amongst other boxes) and unpacked first.
• Ask friends and family to help you - it's a lot faster and easier when you have that extra pair of hands.
• Baskets, laundry bins, hampers, and suitcases are great for moving stuff about in. You don't need to gather together lots of boxes when you already have lots of storage items at home.
