Onesie Bonfire Night!

'Remember, remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason, why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.'

Onesie Remember, Remember....

Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Guy Fawkes DayBonfire Night and Firework Night, is celebrated annually on November 5th - which is tomorrow!!!

It all began on 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London. Months later, it was decided that the day would be annually celebrated in a thanksgiving of the failure of the plot.

To this day, Bonfire night is still often celebrated with fireworks and bonfires!

There are lots of firework displays on or around the 5th November, however lots of people just have fireworks in their own gardens.

Our Rachel went to a firework display down at the harbour at the weekend!

Onesie Remember, Remember....

One of our favourite memories of bonfire night when we were little, was writing our names in the air with our sparklers, and then digging in to a nice warm jacket potato whilst watching all of the fireworks light up the sky.

We hope you have your onesies at the ready to stay nice and snug!

Whatever you get up too, make sure to stay safe while having lots and lots of fun!
