Onesie Student Entrepreneurs

Onesie Peter Jones Enterprise Academy Last week, a group of students from Peter Jones' Enterprise Academy came to visit us here at The All-in-One Company. 'Peter Jones Enterprise Academy was founded by entrepreneur and star of  Dragon's Den, Peter Jones CBE in 2009, with a view to encourage more entrepreneurial activity in the UK based on a philosophy of 'learning by doing'.Peter Jones CBE is one of Britain’s best-known and respected entrepreneurs.  The Peter Jones Enterprise has over 30 colleges nationwide and is the first-ever UK educational organisation dedicated solely to enterprise and entrepreneurship and training the next generation of aspiring entrepreneurs. As part of his mission to put enterprise at the heart of education, in 2012, Peter launched a brand new campaign –Tycoon in Schools. With the ultimate goal getting a business started in every school in the UK, the Peter Jones Foundation provided schools with up to £1000 of investment to students so they could start and run a business during the month of November. It was a huge success and this year’s initiative is supported by the Prime Minister and is likely to be the largest schools enterprise initiative in 2013.As part of Peter’s commitment to leading enterprise education in the UK, the Peter Jones Foundation has recently launched a brand new Higher Apprenticeship in Innovation and Growth. Developed in partnership with Pearson and other educational partners, the Apprenticeship enables young people to earn while they learn, while nurturing ‘entrepreneurial’ and confident business leaders, who will energise a company from within. The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy set out to be a catalyst for cultural change by bringing the boardroom into the classroom. ' Kelly Dillon, who lead the course,  heard Kate's speech at Redcar. The Redcar Enterprise Team, Part of Redcar and Cleveland Council - which works with more than 250 companies providing a raft of free and help support, is made up of skilled business coaches, focused on helping companies across the borough to reach their business goals. Each month, the team holds a business forum for local SME's to network, grow their business and to hear inspirational talks from speakers. Kate spoke about her journey with The All-in-One Company. After hearing Kate's speech, Kelly then got in contact to ask if some of her students could come and visit the factory so they could find out how one idea can turn into a successful business. As the students want to be entrepreneurs and start their own business, Kate educated the students on how it was important to have a USP (unique selling point), The All-in-One Company's, for example, is that you can design your very own bespoke onesie, and how one small idea can turn into something huge.
