Onesie Tips and Tricks

Onesie Christmas Dinner! Is everyone around at yours this Christmas? Are you in a panic about cooking Christmas dinner? Well, don't worry! We all want Christmas to be a beautiful and stress-free event, so we have a few tips and tricks to save you from feeling hot under the collar this Christmas... 1- Did you know that you can freeze your gravy? That's right, you can make your tasty gravy before the big day, just pop it into a container and freeze, then all you need to do is defrost on the big day. For an extra tasty trick, you can add the turkey juices to it before serving. 2- Prefer home-made yorkshires to frozen ones, but never have time to make them on the day?  Well, now you can! Just prepare and cook your yorkshires in advance and pop them in the freezer. When it comes to Christmas day, just pop them in the oven for 5-10 minutes to warm up before serving. 3- Brussel sprouts are a MUST at Christmas time, in fact, no Christmas dinner is complete without them. Just boil your brussels and then drop them in cold water, this stops the cooking process. The next day, just re-heat them in a pan or microwave. This tip doesn't just work on brussels, it works with most other vegetables too! 4- Make a check list of all the food you're planning on making. Tick each item off once prepared/cooked. This bit of planning can go along way, it may just save you from that mad rush around the kitchen an hour before your guests arrive. 5- Prepare, prepare, prepare! Prepare as much as you can the day before! Peel and portion the vegetables, store potatoes in cold water, make the stuffing and sauces, wrap the sausages in bacon and put the white wine and bubbly in the fridge! 6- Don't leave your supermarket shop until the last minute! Make sure you do your shop a week/few days ahead to make sure you stock up on everything you need. 7- Make sure you have your onesie at hand to snuggle into after all of your hard work! We hope that our handy little tips will help you out this Christmas!
