What are you doing to celebrate?

Perhaps a day at the pub drinking Guinness? Or maybe you'll spend the day dancing along to your favourite Irish songs and Bands? Don't forget you don't have to be Irish to celebrate St. Patrick's day! That's right, celebrations are held all around the world! HUGE parades are held in Ireland, some lasting five days, with a total of 1 million visitors! In Argentina a party is held in a down town street where there are SEVERAL Irish pubs! - There were 50,00 people in this street in 2006 celebrating St. Patrick's Day! (And did you know...One of the longest-running and largest St. Patrick's Day parades actually occurs each year in Canada!) And of course, there are parades and festivities held all over Great Britain - In Birmingham, London, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow! Even the astronauts on board the international space station celebrate St, Patrick's Day! ( Did you know astronaut Chris Hadfield took photographs of Ireland from earth orbit, and a picture of himself wearing a green jumper in the space station, and posted them online on Saint Patrick's Day in 2013!) And in Japan, parades and events are held across the entire month of March! Malaysia, Montserrat, Russia, South Korea, Switzerland, United States, Australia, Germany and France also celebrate St. Patricks Day! Sooooo...
