Aloha! Toby's Hawaiian Onesie Design

Did you see Toby's Onesie Jam last week? It was A-MAZING!  And we must say, he looked fabulous in his USA Onesie he designed on our Personalised Onesie Builder. You can order your very own by heading to his very own Toby Lee's Onesie Jam Collection! Of course, a new week brings a new Onesie Jam, and a brand new Onesie! Are you ready for another Behind-the-Scenes blog? This week Toby has gone for a Hawaiian Design with our Red and Lime Green Polar Fleece. Steve rolls out Toby's chosen fabrics and draws around the correct pattern sizes. He then cuts out all the different panels that will make up Toby's Onesie. Once cut, it then moves on to embroidery. Here Mandy embroiders Toby's Logo, and our brand new Hibiscus embroidery image. Once Embroidered, Toby's suit then goes on to machinists to be sewn up - now his onesie is really coming together! Once sewn up, Alison checks the suit top-to-toe to make sure everything is perfect, and packs it, ready to be sent out to Toby. We're so excited to see Toby's Hawaiian Onesie design! In fact, we are that excited, we've put together some facts about Hawaii! Did you know.. Hawaii state's nickname is "Aloha State', because the word 'Aloha' is one of the most commonly used words in Hawaiian Language. Based on the context, Aloha can mean 'hello', 'welcome', 'love', 'best wishes' or even 'goodbye' Hawaii is the only US state with a tropical rain forest Iolani Palace, in Honolulu, is the only royal palace in the United States Hawaii is the only US state made up of entirely of islands. It is composed of 132 islands! There are eight main islands; Hawaii, Maui, Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Niihau, and Kahoolawe, and 124 islets, reefs, and shoals. Wreaths, called Lei's, are made up of any of nature gifts, including leave seeds, nuts, and mainly flowers. They are usually presented upon arriving, leaving or as a symbol of affection. At 6 million years old, Kauai is the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands, and Hawaii Big Island the youngest at less than half a million years old. Hawaii has it's own time zone!
